This is a childhood favorite of mine, a very simple recipe which can be made very quick. This breakfast is packed with nutrients, like crazy amounts of nutrients. If you don’t know sweet potatoes are packed with nutrients. Eating Sweet potatoes on the daily not only helps weight loss but it helps grow healthy hair, have glowing clear skin, and many other benefits. Sweet potatoes are packed with Vitamin E, folate, calcium, and Vitamin A. This sweet potatoes and milk breakfast is fool proof anyone can make it even if you have a busy work day!
This makes a great healthy indian breakfast for weight loss yes those 2 terms usually don’t go together because most of our breakfast are fried, heavy, and extremely rich. However this simple recipe will give you tons of energy to get your day started on the right foot. For all the vegans and gluten free people we recommend replacing the milk with almond or coconut milk of your choice. In either case the flavor and taste will still be retained.

First thing you want to do is either boil or bake the sweet potato, depending on your preference. We personally like to bake it in the oven for a good 30 minutes either the night before or the day off. I recommend baking it in the night before and keeping the sweet potato in the fridge to allow it to be nice and cool for the milk in the morning.
IF you boil the sweet potatoes make sure to drain all the water from the potato so they are nice and dry. Now once you have your baked or boiled sweet potato, skin the potato and cut into small pieces and set it aside.
Grab a suace pan and add in the milk into the pan and boil the milk, after it gets to a boil turn off the stove and let the milk come down to a nice warm temperature.
Pour the milk into a bowl and add into this bowl sweet potato, banana, (Dates if you have them), and mash everything together, if you want you can add the sugar to taste.
You can serve this dish immediately or you can chill this dish in the fridge and serve chilled. We love to have it chilled as it can not only make a hearty breakfast but a cooling desert. This meal makes great not only for you but for your kids, forget giving them processed vitamins and pills feed them this and they will grow healthy and strong.
IF you want to add some more flavor you can sprinkle cardamom powder on top of the finished recipe or cinnamon.
